PV-Diesel Generator-Inverter Hybrid System at Kapas Island, Malaysia This system was designed to generate the electricity which combines the energy from PV modules and diesel generator for Main Malaysian energy provider – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). It consists of 100 kWp PV modules, 60 kW Bidirectional Inverter and 100 kW Grid connected Inverter with the Hybrid System Controller, which is engineering design of Leonics for extracting the power from PV modules for maximum efficient applications (Advanced Dynamic Energy) and the Remote Monitoring and Control. The system has been installed and applied at Kapas Island, Terengganu state, Malaysia and it is known as the largest electricity generating system in Malaysia now. Moreover, Leonics also joins hand with TNBES, TNB's subsidiary company, to develop the electricity generating system at Kapas Island to respond to the increasing of power consumption in the future.

PV-Wind Turbine-Diesel Generator-Inverter Hybrid System for
Remote Area Power System (Island Electrification) at Uligam,
Raimandhoo and Kondey Island, Republic of Maldives

This system was designed to generate the electricity which combines the energy from PV modules, wind turbine and diesel generator for 3 islands of Repubilc of Maldives. It consists of 2.64 kWp PV modules, 43.2 kWp Wind Turbine, 48 kW Diesel Generator, 96 kWh Battery, 45 kW Three phase Bidirectional Inverter (APOLLO MTP-415F), 20 kW DEB (Dynamic Energy Balance) which is the device for protection the battery from over charging, and Hybrid System Command Unit which can monitor and record electrical data in real time for analizing the system operation. The system has been installed and applied at 3 island of Repubilc of Maldives which generate the electricity from several green energy sources. Furthermore, Leonics joins the developting the Hybrid Minigrid Systems for more than 100 islands of Republic of Maldives in the future.
