PV-Diesel Generator-Inverter Hybrid System at Kapas Island, Malaysia
Leonics has been entrusted by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to supply the 100 kWp PV – Diesel Generator Hybrid Minigrid System which has been installed at Kapas Island, Terengganu state, Malaysia to apply for generating electricity for Main Malaysian energy provider–Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
The hybrid solar system combines diesel generator
with PV arrays and operates with Hybrid System Control Command Unit (HCCU) and Telemonitoring for remote power monitoring and control, which can display real-time and event log data for tracking and analyzing the system operation and efficiency any time at any place via www.leonics-moc.com. Furthermore, Leonics will join hand with TNBES, TNB's subsidiary company, to develop the electricity generating system at Kapas Island to respond to the increasing of users' energy demand in the future.
PV-Wind Turbine-Diesel Generator-Inverter Hybrid System for
Remote Area Power System (Island Electrification) at Uligam,
Raimandhoo and Kondey Island, Republic of Maldives
The hybrid solar system has been designed and installed to generate electricity which combines diesel generator with multiple renewable energy sources PV array and wind turbine, and operates with solar inverter and solar system software for remote power monitoring and control. The 3 hybrid solar systems are installed at 3 islands of Republic of Maldives; Uligam Island, Raimandhoo Island and Kondey Island, by Daily Life Renewable Energy Pte. Ltd. The hybrid minigrid system is renewable energy system, which helps conserve energy by reducing the use of diesel fuel in generator and sustainable energy is combined in the system with proper balance in order to maximize the system efficiency.
